You can change the Registered Owner or Registered Organization to anything you want even after Windows is installed.
1) Open RegEdit
2) Got to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion.
3) Change the value of "RegisteredOrganization" or "RegisteredOwner", to what ever you want

And now the registered user information is changed.

Add Specific Folders to Open Dialog Box (XP Home only)
When you use certain Windows applications (such as Notepad) to open a file, on theleft side of the Open dialog box are a group of icons and folders (such as MyDocuments, My Recent Documents, Desktop, My Computer, and My Network) towhich you can navigate to open files. A registry hack will let you put just the foldersof your choosing on the left side of the Open dialog box. Note that when you do this,it will affect XP applications such as Notepad and Paint that use the Open and Savecommon dialog boxes. However, it won’t affect Microsoft Office applications andother applications that don’t use the common dialog boxes. Run the Registry Editorand go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\comdlg32. This is the key that determines how common dialog boxes arehandled.You’re going to create a subkey that will create a customized location for the folders,and then give that subkey a series of values, each of which will define a folderlocation.To start, create a new subkey underneath EY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies\comdlg32 called Placesbar,and create a String value for it named Place0. Give Place0 a value of the topmostfolder that you want to appear on the Open dialog box, for example, C:\Projects. Next,create another String value for Placesbar called Place1. Give it a value of the secondfolder that you want to appear on the Open dialog box. You can put up to five iconson the Open dialog box, so create new String values up to Place4 and give themvalues as outlined in the previous steps. When you’re done, exit the Registry. You can add "Open With..." to the Right click context menu of all files.This is great for when you have several programs you want to open the same file types with. I use three different text editors so I added it to the ".txt" key.
1. Open RegEdit
2.Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\Shell
3. Add a new Key named "OpenWith" by right clicking the "Shell" Key and selecting new
4. Set the (Default) to "Op&en With..."
5. Add a new Key named "Command" by right clicking the "OpenWith" Key and selecting new
6. Set the (Default) to "C:\Windows\rundll32.exe shell32.dll,OpenAs_RunDLL %1", C:\ being your Windows drive.
You must enter the "OpenAs_RunDLL %1" exactly this way.

Change Logon Wallpaper-Windows XP

Logon wallpaper is the wallpaper or image that windows xp shows on screen when windows logs on (before it asks for username & password) . I
t’s usually set to the image-logo of the brand(manufacturer) of our computer (e.g. in compaq laptops).
Now we can set it to our own image or any other image(any bmp file) by following trick.
Open Startmenu->Run type regedit and press ok to open registry editor.(shows a tree like structure of directories at left)
In that hierarchical structure in left, navigate to registry entry HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop
In right side pane see a number of values placed in a table format.
choose the value named Wallpaper from there and double click it.
Now you see a box with value name as Wallpaper and value data as Path to the image file .
There give the full path of the image(bmp file) which you want to set as logon wallpaper by deleting previous path and writing path to your bmp file e.g. C:\WINDOWS\lon.BMP (to set image lon.BMP file as log on wall paper).
Also double click on WallpaperStyle and change it’s value to 2 to get a stretched wallpaper at logon.
Put that bmp file in windows directory for better results.
If that is a jpeg file, convert to bmp file by opening in Windows Image Viewer and save as bmp.
